This is a super cool early 2000's Yamaha SGV300 that plays and sounds great! This guitar is comprised of an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. This example comes in a harder to find Pearl Green finish. The Yamaha Ferrite pickups sound great, they are very articulate and deliver the classic chime these guitars have become known for. The controls include master volume/tone and a balance knob.
This guitar is in great shape for its age! It does show some wear as expected from the last 25 years. There is various scratches, dings, and a few chips in the finish, as well as typical aging. There is some deeper scratches on back of the body bellow the back cover and Yamaha The hardware shows patina consistent with age. The frets are in nice shape and feel great up and down the neck. The electronics function as they should.
This guitar is all original outside of a replacement tremolo arm.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings.
