This vintage made in Japan Yamaha SG-1000 plays and sounds great! This one has had a really cool professional blue refinish that looks great! The electronics include two push/pull tone knobs for coil tapping and the original Yamaha humbuckers sound awesome!
This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The gold hardware also shows normal patina consistent with age. The frets exhibit only light play wear but with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
Apart from the refinish, this guitar is original.
