This is a very rare and hard to find vintage Washburn B-200 Bass that plays and sounds great! There's not a lot of information on this model but this one was likely made in the late 1980s exclusively for the Japanese market. The pickups produce a very high output and a massive punch with a DC reading of 12.44k ohms in the bridge, and 11.71k ohms in the neck position. This bass has a neck through construction with a bound fretboard and the binding around the body is also a very nice touch.
This bass shows normal cosmetic wear for its age that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body from normal play. The white finish has aged from over time and shows splotches of discoloration from where stickers had been placed at one point in time. The upper frets are starting to lift especially past the 15th fret, otherwise the bass plays great. All of the electronics work as they should.
One of the knobs has been replaced, otherwise this bass appears to be original.
This bass comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL170 (45-100) Bass Roundwound strings.
