This is a very rare and hard to find vintage Tokai Springy Sound ST-80 in metallic blue finish! This is regarded as one of the higher end Springy Sound models featuring a nitro lacquer finish and gray-bobbin "E" stamped Alnico single-coil pickups. The tone woods include an alder body, "V" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The Tokai logo on the headstock has partially peeled off and the hardware shows normal patina that is consistent with aging. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life left and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
