This 1978 Tokai Springy Sound ST-42 plays and sounds great! This guitar was modeled after a 1950's Strat and has a comfortable "C" shape neck profile.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware is tarnished and the pickguard, volume/tone knobs, and pickup covers have aged and yellowed over time. The frets have normal wear for their age but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickup selector as well as some of the electronics have been replaced. The tremolo arm has also been added. The guitar otherwise appears to be original.
