This Tokai Silver Star SS-50 plays and sounds great! This one is reminiscent of a 1970's Strat, including features such as a bullet style truss rod adjustment and a 3-bolt neck plate with micro tilt adjustment. The silver gray finish has a metallic sheen and pairs well with the black pickguard.
This guitar shows some cosmetic wear from over the years that include various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and minor dings on the headstock. There's also a small finish chip located towards the back side of the body. The pickup selector switch is just slightly bent but still functions properly. The silver gray finish has aged over time and is starting to show some discoloration in some areas and the back of the maple neck is also showing some fading in color. The frets are used but still have plenty of life left and the electronics work as they should. Overall, this guitar is in nice shape for its age.
This guitar appears to be all original.
