This is a nice sounding Tokai Cat's Eyes CE-300 from 1983. The neck is straight but the action is pretty high up on the 12th fret at .14".
This guitar does show a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years that include light surface scratches and a small dent on the lower side of the body. The back of the neck and headstock also show some additional dings as well and there appears to be a little bit of separation starting to form between the binding and neck underneath the nut. There's also a cloudy streak in the finish on the back of the body towards the side above the binding as well as on the back of the headstock. The tuning keys are lightly tarnished and the binding around the guitar also shows some signs of aging from over time. The frets show normal play wear and there's minor wear on the fretboard.
The D string tuner has been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
Includes the pictured hard case.
