This 1992 Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom plays and sounds great! This one is a really nice example from the Terada Factory in Japan with the flame top cherry sunburst lacquer finish. The neck has a comfortably slim taper profile and the guitar is equipped with a set of USA Gibson 490R/498T humbuckers.
This guitar is in great shape for its age at nearly 35 years old! It shows normal cosmetic wear for its age that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The binding has aged from over time and the gold hardware also shows normal patina that is also consistent with aging. The frets still have plenty of life and play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard is missing, otherwise this guitar is all original.
