This 1993 Orville by Gibson J-45 plays and sounds great! The neck feels very comfortable, with a full profile, faithfully recreating the feel of a golden era J-45. This guitar comes from Gibson's highest tier of Japanese production, the Orville by Gibson line, giving this one a gorgeous nitro lacquer finish.
This guitar is in really nice shape for being over 30 years old, it shows minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the boy with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The frets exhibit light play wear but otherwise still have plenty of life and the truss rod still has room to turn in both directions. This is a really well kept example that is ready for many more years of enjoyment!
This guitar is all original.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EJ16 (12-53) Acoustic strings.
