This is a super cool vintage Morris W-40 that plays and sounds great! This is an excellent example of a Japanese crafted acoustic guitar of the era, made with top choice woods. Based on research of catalogs, other listings, and comparing specs, this one is estimated to be from around 1978. The guitar currently has medium-high action at 0.11" at the 12th fret.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years, most notably some clouding on the front of the headstock and sides of the body. There in a pretty big blemish on the bottom side where the wood was cracked in. There's also some light surface scratches and small dents throughout the body from normal play. The frets are used but are still overall in great shape and play great.
This guitar is all original.
