This Ibanez S2170SE Prestige plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a swirled ebony top, mahogany body, and a maple and bubinga Wizard II Prestige neck. The body is super thin and light-weight and the flat radius on the neck makes it easy to get around on the fretboard. The HSH pickup configuration provides a wide variety of different tones.
This guitar does show some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware also shows some normal patina for its age. The frets still have plenty of life and play great across the neck and the electronics work as they should.
The original pickups have been swapped for a DiMarzio DP221 in the neck, DP184 in the middle, and a DP222 in the bridge position. The strap buttons and bridge saddles are also replacements. This guitar is otherwise original.
