This made in Japan 1985 Ibanez Pro Line Series PR1440 plays and sounds great! This one is in the rare cherry ice finish that is not listed in the catalogs. This guitar is equipped with an Ibanez IBZ triple magnet humbucker in the bridge position and two Ibanez Super 7FT single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions. The controls also include a push/push duo sound tone knob and three mini switches for pickup selecting.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with scuffs along the back of the neck and minor dings on the headstock. The lacquer on the back of the neck and headstock has worn from over time and the cherry ice finish has also faded slightly. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the back spring and electronics covers have various scratches as well. The frets are still in nice shape overall and the electronics work as they should.
The low E string saddle has been replaced. The original saddle is included inside the case however. This guitar is otherwise original.
Includes the pictured hard case and Ibanez manual. One of the latches on the case is broken but otherwise keeps the guitar secure.
