This is a super cool made in Japan Steve Vai Signature Ibanez JEM7V that plays and sounds great! This guitar has a very striking appearance and the thin neck profile with the ebony fretboard makes this guitar ideal for shredding. Frets 21-24 are even scalloped.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings on the headstock. There's also a couple of finish chips, one located on the front of the lower horn and on the lower side of the body. The gold screws and hardware show normal tarnishing and the pearl white pickguard has also yellowed from over time. The frets are used with some grooves starting to form but the frets otherwise play great without any noticeable buzzing. All of the electronics work as they should.
The strap buttons have been replaced and the tremolo arm has been added. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured Ibanez gig bag and case candy.
