This vintage made in Japan Ibanez Destroyer II DT870 plays and sounds great! The bass is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The Super pickup's provide a warm and punchy tone and the controls include two volume, master tone, 3-way pickup selector, and a mini tri-sound switch. This example was over-sprayed on the front of the body at some point.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also splotches of finish wear along the sides of the body. The gold hardware and pickups also show normal patina consistent with age. The frets exhibit light play wear but otherwise still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The knobs have been replaced and the finish on the front of the body had been over-sprayed with a black spray paint. This bass is otherwise original.
This bass does not include a case.
