This vintage made in Japan Ibanez Destroyer II DT870 plays and sounds great! The bass is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The Super pickup's provide a warm and punchy tone and the controls include two volume, master tone, 3-way pickup selector, and a mini tri-sound switch.
This bass is in great shape for its age at over 40 years old! It does show some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body from normal play with additional minor dings on the headstock. The cherry sunburst finish has aged nicely and the gold hardware also shows normal patina that is consistent with aging. The frets are in great shape with plenty of life and the truss rod has room to turn in both directions.
This bass is all original.
