This made in Japan Jackson Dan Spitz Professional plays and sounds great! These were sold exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and are very hard to find. This guitar is equipped with a set of EMG 81/85 pickups and a Schaller JT-590 tremolo. The tone woods include a poplar body, maple neck, and ebony fretboard. The neck-through construction is a really nice feature and the neck has a super thin profile making it easy to get around on the fretboard.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional scuffs along the back of the neck and dings on the headstock. Both points of the body also have some finish chips. The gold hardware shows normal tarnishing and the binding around the neck has yellowed from over time. The frets are still in nice shape overall and the electronics work as they should.
The volume knob and a couple of the screws on the back spring cover have been replaced, the tremolo arm is a later Schaller OEM replacement, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
