This is a super cool made in Japan Grover Jackson Soloist that plays and sounds great! The information regarding Jackson guitars is a bit murky but this one is estimated to be from the late 1980's pre Jackson Stars era. The Grover Jackson models were available exclusively for the Japanese Domestic market. The body is a neck through super Strat design and the rosewood fretboard includes 24 frets. The pickups display a J-50n neck humbucker and a handwritten code DJ-8c 10.8 in the bridge position. The Grover Jackson branded floating bridge is licensed by Floyd Rose.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body along with some small dings on the headstock. The platinum finish has also yellowed from over time and the hardware is lightly tarnished. There's a larger dent located on the back of the lower horn. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar appears to be all original.
