This is a super cool vintage Gretsch 6119 from 1965. This guitar is equipped with all of the classic appointments from the time.
This guitar does look like a vintage instrument and shows plenty of signs of cosmetic wear. The body shows some scratches, small chips, and dents throughout and there's additional dings on the back of the neck and headstock. There's a notable scratch that goes down the front of the headstock and the finish shows quite a bit of checking on the body. There's also some notable checking on the back of the neck where the heel meets the body and there's some more checking on the back of the neck towards the headstock. The finish underneath the Bigsby hardware also shows some scuffs. The hardware and pickups show some oxidation and tarnish from over time and the binding around the neck and body have aged as well. The frets are very used and the nut also shows quite a bit of wear.
The truss rod cover screws look to be replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
Includes the pictured OHSC and case candy.
