This is a super cool made in Japan vintage Greco SuperSounds SE450. These were originally released in the Japanese market to recreate the current USA Stratocaster models being made at the time. This example was made in the Matsumoko Factory in 1976 in a fairly uncommon natural finish. The neck profile is super comfortable, and the factory equipped Maxon PU-100 pickups sound great!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years as expected for a 40 year old instrument. Most notably, there's quite a bit of wear on the pickguard and various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body. There's also lots of wear by the nut and the hardware shows some oxidation from over the years. The headstock also shows some slight discoloration and additional dings as well. The frets show only normal play wear with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is original outside of a replacement pickguard and tremolo arm.
