This is a super cool vintage Greco Super Sounds SE500 that plays and sounds great! The guitar is equipped with the original Maxon Excel single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions while the bridge pickup has been replaced over time. A shim has been added to the neck pocket for a better neck angle and plays comfortably with medium-low action.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional minor dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the pickguard and back spring cover have yellowed from over time. The frets are definitely used but the strings still play great along the neck without fretting out and the electronics work as they should.
The bridge pickup has been replaced and the tremolo arm has been added. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
