This vintage Greco FB-98 plays and sounds great! The catalog FB-98 shows a Vibrola tail piece however, the bridge posts and tail piece on this one appear to be factory. The pickup cavities have also been routed to fit full sized humbuckers.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and chips on the headstock. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing and the binding around the neck has yellowed from over time. The frets are used and have started to flatten out from over time but still play great along the neck. All of the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is not all original, but is a fantastic players-grace vintage Greco. The pickups are a set of Seymour Duncan APH-2s Alnico II Pro Slash Humbuckers. The truss rod cover is a later replacement. The strap button on the back of the body has also been added.
