This is a very rare and hard to find vintage Greco EX800 in all-original, excellent condition. This was a very early example, made in the Fujigen factory in 1976. The guitar is comprised of an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. This guitar plays and sounds great! The neck has a very slim profile and the guitar is equipped with a set of Maxon U-2000 pickups.
The Fujigen factory produced the Ibanez Destroyer 2459 and Greco EX800 guitars concurrently, with the same specs. The Greco branded version was made for the Japanese domestic market, while the Ibanez branded version was made for the export market.
This guitar does show some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body with additional dings on the headstock. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing from over time. One of the volume knobs appears to be slightly crooked but otherwise still functions normally. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should. Overall, this guitar is in nice shape for its age!
