This 2005 Gibson Thunderbird IV plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortably slim profile and the humbuckers provide a very warm and rich tone.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional with additional minor dings along the back of the neck and headstock. One of the tone knobs also has a small chip on top. The finish on the back of the headstock also shows some light checking and the hardware has normal light tarnishing. The white pickguard has also started to age nicely from over time. The frets in nice shape with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The truss rod cover has been replaced, otherwise this bass is original.
