This is a very unique Gibson SG '90 from 1988. The finish is a mess but the guitar otherwise plays and sounds great! The neck has a very slim profile and has a longer 25.5" scale length compared to other Gibsons. The electronics include a single factory-equipped Gibson USA Bill Lawrence Humbucker and single volume and tone knobs.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years. Apart from the finish, the body also shows various scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips throughout with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also imprints on the back of the body from where there had been stickers placed at one point in time. What's left of the metallic turquoise finish has also aged from over time and the binding around the neck has yellowed significantly and shows thin cracks throughout. The hardware and single pickup also show quite a bit of tarnish and oxidation. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pots and electronics have been swapped out and the knobs and pickup ring have been replaced. The original components are included inside the case. This guitar is otherwise original.
