This 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortably slim profile and the guitar is equipped with a set of Gibson 490R/498T humbuckers. This guitar comes from a fantastic era of Gibson production, and this all-original LP certainly lives up to the "Good Wood" hype.
This guitar is in excellent condition for its age at 30 years old. It shows normal cosmetic wear for its age that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body from normal play. The binding and pearl inlays have aged from over time and the hardware also shows patina consistent with age. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
