This 1993 Gibson Les Paul Junior Special plays and sounds great! This rare iteration of the LP Special was named the "Junior II" in the catalog, and boasts some really cool specs! The tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece setup allows for granular intonation adjustment, and the P-100 pickups provide all the growl and bite of a P90 without the hum. The neck has a comfortable '60s profile.
This guitar does show normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also some finish wear along the lower side of the body around the lower strap button and the binding around the neck has also aged from over time. The hardware and pickups also show normal tarnishing from over the years. The truss rod cover has a crack through the center but is otherwise still in tact. The frets exhibit normal light play wear but otherwise still play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46 gauge) strings. The upper strap button has been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
