This Gibson J-45 plays and sounds great! This guitar was made in 1997 and was from a short-lived reissue of the iconic 1962 J-45. The neck profile is nice and comfy here, and it delivers the warm, mid focused J-45 tone players have grown to love.
This guitar is coming up on 30 years old and is aging beautifully. It shows wear consistent with age, such as light checking, various surface scratches, and other small blemishes throughout. The frets show some light wear, but still play great and down the neck. The color is aging nicely as you would hope for with a lacquer-finished vintage instrument.
This guitar is all original.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EJ16 (12-53) Acoustic strings.
