This 2009 Gibson Flying V plays and sounds great! This one comes right after the Factor X rebrand and essentially boasts similar '60s specs. This run of Flying V guitars from 2009-2014 is the last run of the classic '67 Flying V's that began production back in 1990. The factory-equipped Gibson 496R/500T pickups sound fantastic, and this example has a nice slimmer neck profile.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and small finish chips throughout the body with additional light scratching along the back of the neck and small dings on the headstock. The white pickguard is starting to age from over time and there's light tarnishing on the hardware. The frets are still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
The pickup covers have been added and one of the volume pots have been replaced. It's also very evident that some of the solder points have been touched up. The volume/tone knobs and strap buttons are also replacements. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
