This is a super cool vintage Gibson Firebrand "The Paul" from 1979! The guitar is overall in very nice shape for its age and the guitar plays and sounds great!
This guitar does show normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish wear all throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware and pickups show normal tarnishing from over time and the pickup rings have some chips as well. The volume/tone knobs show some tarnishing as well and the natural walnut finish has aged beautifully from over time. Despite the cosmetic wear, there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The frets have normal play wear but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The tail piece is a replacement and one of the screws in the bridge pickup ring has also been replaced. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured Gibson hard case. One of the latches has broken off but the case otherwise still closes normally and keeps the guitar secure.
