This vintage Gibson Blue Ridge acoustic guitar plays and sounds great! The stunning and well-played example from 1968 features some super nice woods. This guitar is comprised of a solid spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck.
This guitar does show plenty of cosmetic wear from over the years as you would expect from a vintage instrument. Most notably, the finish shows checking all throughout with scuffs, dents, and scratches from normal play. There's also quite a bit of scuffing around the sound hole and a larger ding located near the lower strap button. The back of the neck and headstock show additional dents and checking as well. The finish on the side of the fretboard above the first few frets has chipped away. The hardware is also tarnished from over time. The frets have normal play wear for its age but still play great overall. The action is currently medium/high.
This guitar is all original.
