This made in Japan Fender TL-62 Telecaster Reissue is one of the earliest examples from 1983. This one has an A serial so it appears this one overlaps the JV period. This guitar has been really well maintained over the years and plays and sounds great! This guitar features a very dark rosewood fretboard.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that include various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional scuffs on the headstock. The hardware also shows some minor tarnish from over the years. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard is period correct but is likely a replacement. The 1983 Fender catalog offered white pickguards for the TL-62 Telecasters. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured Roadrunner tweed hard case.
