This is a super cool vintage Fender Stratocaster from 1979! This one is very heavy in weight at just over ten pounds and the neck has a comfortable "C" shape. This guitar has had several modifications from over the years but still retains its vintage character and charm, putting this comfortably in the "Players Grade Vintage" category.
This guitar has aged nicely and shows quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The glossy finish on the back of the neck has worn down, providing a matte feel. The frets exhibit play wear, but still play great up and down the neck. The neck is straight with the truss rod having room to turn in both directions and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is far from original with most of the parts being swapped and replaced. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan SL59-1 single coil sized humbucker and the bridge tone pot has also been replaced. The bridge, hardware, jack plate, tuners, tremolo cover, and pickguard are also replacements. The middle and neck pickups have also been swapped for unmarked higher output single coil pickups.
Pickup Readings:
Neck: 13.33k ohms
Middle: 12.99k ohms
Bridge: 14.75k ohms
