This is a super cool vintage Fender Stratocaster from 1979! The finish wear and checking from over the years actually looks incredible.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the many years that includes various scratches, scuffs, chips, and dents all throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. Most notably, the finish has worn off on the lower body and there's also significant finish checking all throughout. The maple neck has also aged significantly and shows areas of discoloration. The hardware also has normal tarnishing from over time. The frets are definitely used, showing grooves and have flattened from the many years of play. Despite the fret wear, none of the strings are fretting out along the neck. All of the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard and all of the electronics have been replaced. The pickups include a set of Fender Custom Shop '69 single coil pickups. The body had also been routed for an HSS configuration at one point in time. The strap buttons and back spring cover are also replacements.
