This crafted in Japan Fender ST62-US Stratocaster Reissue plays and sounds great! The sonic blue finish has aged beautifully over time and the guitar is factory-equipped with USA pickups. The tone woods include a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and a dark rosewood fretboard. This guitar was modified by a previous owner, now sporting locking tuners, a roller nut, and a more modern bridge, making this a great guitar for someone looking for vintage feel, sound, and aesthetic, with modern utility.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional scuffs on the headstock. A couple of the previous tuner holes are still visible and have been filled. The sonic blue finish has also aged significantly to a cool greenish color. The frets are in nice shape with minimal play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is equipped with a KTS bridge and Fender locking tuners. The nut has been swapped for roller nut and the spring cover and string tree have also been replaced. This guitar is otherwise original.
