This '57 Reissue Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This model comes factory-equipped with Fender USA Pure Vintage pickups which sound incredible here, delivering the classic 50s Stratocaster chime with a nice full output. The neck is an oval shape, providing a bit of chunkiness without being a baseball bat. The is a lighter example, coming in at 7.54 pounds, with a basswood body.
This Stratocaster comes from the "Crafted in Japan" era, carrying a "P" serial prefix, dating production between 1999 and 2002.
This guitar is in really nice shape for its age at over 20 years old. Shows normal cosmetic wear such as a few dings and other blemishes throughout the finish. The hardware shows patina consistent with age. The frets are in really nice shape, playing great up and down the neck, exhibiting only light play wear. The electronics function as they should and this Strat is ready to rock!
