This is a super cool crafted in Japan Fender ST-54DEX2 that plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of an alder body, a comfortable soft "V" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard. The EX in the model number indicates that this one was an export model. The shell pink finish looks great!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body. There is also a crack in the nut just above the D string. The hardware is lightly tarnished and the shell pink finish has slightly aged from over time. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm has been added, otherwise this guitar is original.
