This is a super cool vintage Fender Musicmaster bass that plays and sounds great! The bass is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The short 30" scale length makes this bass very comfortable to play and the flat wound strings compliment the tone nicely. This example has really unique mod, it has been customized to sport a Jazz Bass pickup, which sounds awesome!
This bass is in great shape for its age! It shows light wear that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and small finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The olympic white finish has aged beautifully from over time and the hardware also shows normal patina consistent with aging. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life left and the electronics work as they should.
The body and pickguard have been routed to accommodate the Jazz bass pickup. The volume/tone knobs are later replacements. This bass otherwise is otherwise original.
