Here we have an all-original vintage Fender Musicmaster Bass! Easily one of the coolest basses of the era. This one has a super comfy neck profile, with a nice dark rosewood fretboard. Freshly set up with flatwound strings, this bass is playing great, and ready to deliver all the vintage short scale vibe you could ask for.
This bass is in nice shape for vintage instrument of its age and has obviosuly been well kept. It has collected some wear from over the years, most notably aging and wear in the finish. The Musicmaster's were some of the last holdouts from Fender still using all nitro lacquer finish, and due to this they wear quite easily. There is discoloration, scratches, chips and other cosmetic wear throughout, as well as standard lacquer checking on the neck, headstock, and body. There is a chip in the pickguard as shown. The hardware has held up very well, displaying some patina consistent with age. The frets are in nice shape for their age and playing great, exhibiting only light wear. The electronics work as they should.
This bass is all original.
Includes the pictured Gator GT-Bass gig bag. This is a great quality padded bag that protects the bass very well.
