This made in Japan Fender MG-69 Mustang Reissue plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The Fender Japan catalog denotes this one as "Candy Apple Red" though it appears a bit darker, verging into OCR (Old Candy Apple Red) or Midnight Wine territory.
This guitar does show some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches throughout the body and small dings on the headstock. The frets are still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
One of the 3-way switches has been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
Includes the pictured gig bag.
