This crafted in Japan Fender JGS-78 Special plays and sounds great! This is a great option for those looking for an HH pickup configuration. The guitar is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The gun metal blue finish looks incredible and the Fender Dragster-J Humbuckers provide a very bright and clear tone.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware and pickups show quite a bit of patina from over time but looks really nice against the gun metal blue finish. The frets exhibit only light play with plenty of life left and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings. The electronics were previously serviced with a few switches replaced. The pickguard and pickup rings are later replacements. This guitar is otherwise original.
