This crafted in Japan Fender JG-66 Jaguar Reissue plays and sounds great! The lake placid blue finish is also an uncommon color for this model, especially with a matching headstock. The guitar is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. This example sports upgraded Fender USA '65 Pure Vintage Jaguar pickups, which sound great!
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, finish chips, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's particularly quite a bit of scratching along the back of the body with a cluster of dents along the lower back side. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing from over time. The frets feel great, with life left, showing only normal play wear. The electronics work as they should.
This guitar has had a few modifications from over the years. The pickups are a set of Fender Pure Vintage '65 pickups and the pickguard and tremolo arm have also been replaced. The bridge pickup cavity had once been routed to fit a humbucker at one point in time and has since been re-filled. This guitar is otherwise original.
