This made in Japan CST-50 plays and sounds great! The "CST" stamp indicates "Current Stratocaster Series" and these models are essentially ST-72 models that are reminiscent of 1970's Fender Stratocasters.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing from over time. There's also quite a bit of wear in the lacquer finish on the maple fretboard. The frets are used but otherwise still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and back spring cover have been added. It also appears that some of the electronics may have been replaced and a few solder points have been touched up. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
