This is a super cool Fender Contemporary Stratocaster ST-535 from 1985 that plays and sounds great! These were among some of the first Japanese Fender guitars to be exported from Japan.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also a significant chip located on the back side of the body that appears to have been filled at one point. The hardware is also lightly tarnished from over time and there's some finish cracks starting to form down the front and back of the body. The frets have normal play wear but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm has been added and the back spring cover has been replaced. This guitar is otherwise original.
