This Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This USA-made iteration of the Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster is quite hard to find, especially in this nice Sonic Blue finsih. This examples features a DiMarzio DP182 bridge pickup, paired with the factory DiMarzio YJM pickups in the middle and neck positions, controlled by a 3-way selector switch.
This is in great shape for its age at over 25 years old! It shows normal cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The sonic blue finish has started to age nicely from over time and the hardware shows normal patina that is also consistent with aging. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio DP182 and the tone pot, tremolo arm, and spring cover are also replacements. This guitar is otherwise original.
