This 1997 reissue Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortable slim "C" shape profile and the burgundy mist finish has aged very nicely from over time. This Strat is a very rare variant within the US Vintage line, it is a Yamano Music shop order guitar, that comes factory equipped with Texas Special pickups.
This guitar in in excellent shape for its age at nearly 30 years old. It shows minor cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body and a small finish chip located on the heel of the neck pocket. The burgundy mist finish has a nice fade to it from over time and the hardware also shows light patina consistent with aging. The frets exhibit light only play wear with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The electronics were previously serviced with the caps upgraded. It currently sports its original 3-way switch. The original components included inside the case, including the 5-way switch these ship with. This guitar is otherwise original.
