This 2004 Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This one is a Yamano Music select, a Japanese distributor known for selecting quality instruments from the US for the Japanese market. This guitar is comprised of an alder body, soft "V" shape maple neck, and a maple fretboard. The Ocean Turquoise Metallic finish has aged really nicely from over time!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional light scratching along the back of the neck and on the headstock. The "Original Custom Body" decal on the headstock is also worn around the edges and the Lake Placid Blue finish has aged to a greenish color from over time.
The bridge pickup has been swapped for a DiMarzio single coil pickup and the spring cover has also been replaced. The original tuners have also been swapped for a set of vintage locking tuners. Some of the solder points in the electronics have also been touched up. This guitar is otherwise original.
