This Fender American Standard Stratocaster plays and sounds great! The fretboard is nice and dark and the tortoise shell pickguard is a nice contrast against the black finish.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body from normal play. The headstock also shows additional dings and some areas of discoloration. The hardware is lightly tarnished from over time and most of the lower frets have some grooves forming from the many years of play. The strings still play great without any fret buzz and the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard and strap buttons have been replaced. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured Fender chainsaw hard case.
