This Fender American Standard Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This one has been modded for an HSS pickup configuration, sporting a Seymour Duncan SH-4 in the bridge position and Fender Generation 4 Noiseless single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions. The neck has a very comfortable "C" shape profile. This Stratocaster features the desired "Swimming Pool" route, meaning you can load any pickup configuration your like. It also features locking tuners, making string changes effortless with rock solid tuning stability.
This guitar does show some normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard particularly shows scratches from normal play. The frets exhibit light play wear but otherwise still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
For those interested in this guitars story, it was previously owned and toured by Dan Gow of Against the Current. The guitar was modified to his specifications, with the locking tuners being added, and pickups/electronics/pickguard being replaced.
