This 1987 Fender American Standard Stratocaster plays and sounds great! The pewter finish has aged incredibly well over time and has sort of a greenish undertone.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional minor dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's some lacquer wear along the edges of the fretboard and the hardware and screws show normal tarnishing from over time. There's a gash located on the lower side of the body near the strap button. The frets are used but otherwise still play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups are a set of Suhr Michael Landau Standard Single Coil pickups. The tremolo arm and locking Fender tuners have also been added. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
