This crafted in Japan Fender AJB-58 Aerodyne Jazz Bass plays and sounds great! The bass is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The pickups have been upgraded to a set of DiMarzio PJ pickups which sound great!
This bass shows minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and small finish chips with additional small dings and light scratches along the back of the neck and headstock. The dolphin gray finish has darkened from over time and the hardware shows some tarnishing and light oxidation. The frets exhibit light play wear but otherwise still play great with medium action and the electronics work as they should.
This bass is freshly set up with D'Addario EXL170 .045-.100 gauge strings. The pickups have been swapped for a set of DiMarzio PJ pickups, the knobs have been replaced, and a thumb rest had been mounted to the body. This bass is otherwise original.
